1. Information We Collect

• Authentication Data: Username, email, and password for account creation and authentication.
• Location Data: We collect location information for the place your create. We use your location to position and route you to your next drink. We do not store any location information in relation to users.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data to match users based on their preferences, travel plans, and location.

3. Data Sharing

We do not share or sell user data to third parties.

4. User Control & Account Deletion

Users can delete their account at any time. Except for authentication information and username, all other provided data is optional.

You can delete your account in two ways:

• From the app: use the Delete Account function available in your profile.
• By email: send a request to support@tapmapapp.org with the subject line DELETE: accountID, replacing accountID with your account ID.

Your account ID is shown in your profile:

• For anonymous users, it appears next to your name, for example Anonymous#(3f1b...) — use the value inside the parentheses (e.g. 3f1b...).
• For registered users, it is shown under the Account Info section in the ID field (e.g. 3f1b...).

5. Data Security

All data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Our backend ensures a secure data storage and management.
